Our large and airy salon enables us to open doors and windows to create an outdoor like experience within the safety and comfort of the salon; creating a calm, reassuring atmosphere where you may enjoy your new TBH Salon experience.

Sanitation Protocols

TBH uses the highest quality anti-viral disinfecting solutions to sanitize the entire salon throughout the day. We ensure that all equipment, surfaces, and high touch points are disinfected after each client. Smocks, cutting capes, and towels are laundered after each use. And, styling /cutting tools are sanitized after each use. We kindly require you to sanitize your hands upon entering the salon. You will immediately feel at ease when noticing the immaculate condition of the salon space.

Personal Protective Equipment

Your Stylist will wear appropriate PPE during your entire visit to ensure your peace of mind and safety. You will be provided with a freshly-laundered smock and cutting cape. To ensure the safety of our staff and your fellow clients, we insist clients exhibiting any flu-related symptoms reschedule. We will provide a mask for you to wear during your service(s).

Social Distancing

We have reduced the number of clients in the salon at any one given time to a 1-to-1 Employee/Guest ratio. And, we’ve removed the in-salon waiting area. Therefore, we kindly request that other guests are not permitted to wait for you in the salon. Our large and airy salon enables us to open doors and windows to promote cross-ventilation. If it is SF-cold, we have (2) medical-grade air purifiers which circulate the air every 30 minutes.


What to know before you arrive

* Please come to your appointment alone. For everyone’s safety, we have limited the number of guests to a 1-to-1 Employee/Guest ratio. And, we have removed the in-salon waiting area.

* At the sanitation station, you will sanitize your hands and fill out the Client Health Questionnaire.

* Mask Up! You and your Stylist will wear masks during your entire visit.

 * Proceed to the lavatory, where you will find your freshly-laundered smock so you may change. (Your Stylist will stow your other items in the salon closet.)

 * Make yourself comfortable at your stylist's sanitized station; you may now relax and enjoy the luxury of a safe TBH salon experience.

Cancellation policy. Out of scheduling necessity, we must adhere to a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. There will be a 50% charge of your total service costs for a late cancellation. (But don’t worry, confirmation notifications (email & text) are sent 5 days before your scheduled appointment!)


TBH adheres to the San Francisco Health Department, California State Board of Cosmetology, Cal/OSHA, CDC, and California State Health Department Guidelines.
