By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following Salon Policies:
Credit Card Required
All scheduled appointments at Tom’s require a valid credit card; encryption technology secures its information. Tom’s reserves the right to charge the credit card on file as outlined in the Cancellation/Late Arrival Policies.
Cancellations
A 50% Cancellation Fee will apply within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment. Within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, as with Same-Day Cancellations, Same-Day Reschedules or “No Shows,” a 100% charge for the scheduled service(s) will apply. There are no exceptions.
Late Arrivals
Clients are instructed (via email) to arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled appointment. If a client is more than 10 minutes late after the appointment start time, the service will be canceled and marked as a “No Show.” A 100% charge for the scheduled service(s) will apply. This allows us to maintain the scheduled appointment times for the following scheduled clients. There are no exceptions.
Cancellation List
To be added to the Cancellation List, you must have a scheduled appointment.
No Additional Guests
Due to limited space, only scheduled clients and salon employees are permitted in the salon. Additional guests, regardless of age, are not allowed to remain for a client’s service.
Masks
We no longer require masks at Tom’s, but we take our clients’ personal welfare and health decisions seriously. If a client prefers to wear one, complimentary masks are always available at the salon’s entrance.
No Children’s Services
Due to insurance and liability issues, Tom’s does not provide Children’s Haircuts or Services.
Consultations
Clients are responsible for providing all historical information about their hair and scalp, as well as information on any known allergies related to a hair salon setting or the products used therein. Any damage to the client’s hair integrity, scalp, or skin caused by “undisclosed information” is not the responsibility of the Stylist or Tom’s Beautiful Hair.
Cut/Color Corrections
If you are not satisfied with a cut or color service at Tom’s and would like to adjust the outcome, contact us within three days of the original appointment to schedule a complimentary dry haircut adjustment or color correction of the intended haircut and/or color. Every effort will be made to schedule the corrective appointment as soon as possible. Any cut or color alteration outside of the three-day window or beyond the initial cut/color scope will be charged full price.
Refunds
We do not offer refunds or discounts on Services. However, if you change your mind about a Retail product, we will provide a full refund if the product is unopened/unused, in its original packaging, and returned within 15 days of the purchase date.
Right of Refusal
As a private business, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
